We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have.

Headteacher Welcome

Churchstanton Primary School is an attractive village school set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Blackdown Hills. The school has an enviable reputation for having an inspiring and creative curriculum which makes the most of our stunning outdoor facilities and grounds. Forest School and Outdoor Education are at the core of our curriculum offer and our many awards reflect the school’s expertise in this area.

We ensure our children have every opportunity to attain the highest possible standards in their work and personal development during their time with us. We recognise that each child is an individual to be valued and also that each child has the ability to succeed. We believe that every child is good at something and in recognising this we aim to build responsible, respectful, resilient risk takers. Our very caring and supportive staff work extremely hard to ensure that every child thrives when they come to our school.

We pride ourselves in our strong community links. Our inclusive ethos creates an environment built upon our core values. It is this positive learning environment which enables our children to develop and grow becoming life-long learners, having high aspirations in both their academic and personal lives.

I invite you to browse through our website and prospectus to familiarise yourselves with our school and what it has to offer. If you would like any of our information in printed form, just let us know – we’ll be happy to provide it for you.

We warmly encourage visits to our lovely school, and invite you to come and visit us when the children are working, so that you can see at first-hand the rich learning environment that our staff work so hard to create. Please contact the school office and we will be delighted to take the time to show you and your child around our beautiful school.

Kind Regards,

Mr M Watson  (Headteacher)
