Meet the Churchstanton Super Learning Heroes!
In consultation with the children, we have designed seven Super Learning Heroes to represent different skills. Each character has a unique learning power based on the skills children have identified as being important to the learning process.
In order for children to be successful learners they need to be aware of the active role that they play in their own learning. Our Super Learning Heroes will develop the understanding of the core skills which support effective learning, such as motivation, resilience, perseverance, collaboration, concentration and creative thinking.
Our Heroes are used everyday to help children develop vocabulary across the curriculum to discuss and reflect on their learning behaviours. They are used as part of our reward policy linked to our Class Dojo points.
