The school has a very active and supportive PTA which arranges a number of fundraising and social events throughout the year. Revenue from these events provides many excellent resources for the school, such as extra equipment and activities that cannot be funded from the school budget.
Anyone within the community can become a member of the PTA and is most welcome. Informal meetings are held after school or in the evenings.

The committee are ably supported by other members and helpers drawn from parents of children at the school. The fundraising efforts of the PTA are invaluable in providing additional facilities for children at the school as agreed in conjunction with the Headteacher.
The PTA has previously funded such items as trips to the theatre for the whole school, sports drinks bottles and basketball equipment as well as library software. The PTA raises funds by way of an annual School Fete, generally held in July, together with other events as agreed by the committee.
As well as being a fundraising body, the PTA aims to help with parent integration to the school. We have held events such as discos and welly walks which make minimal profit but whose aim is to get parents, staff and children together, having a good time!
