The school has a very active and supportive Parent Teacher Association (PTA) which has the following aims:
- Fundraising for curriculum enrichment for pupils
- Parent, carer and wider community engagement
Revenue from events run within school and for the wider community provides many excellent resources for the school, such as extra equipment and school trips relevant to the school curriculum to enhance the children’s learning experience.
We also bring fun and excitement to the school throughout the year, with activities for the children such as an annual visit from Father Christmas and spooky Halloween disco’s.
All spends are agreed in conjunction with the Headteacher at the September AGM for the coming year, using funds raised from the previous year.
If your child is enrolled in the school you automatically become a member of the PTA. Your level of involvement is up to you but there is always something you could help with even if you can only spare an hour.
We welcome support from grandparents, friends and other local community member’s so please get in touch if you have an idea or a skill you’d like to share with school community or would like to know more.
The current committee is as follows:
- Chairperson – Rosie James
- Secretary – Laura Bamford
- Treasurer – Amy Day
We have a minuted meeting each term with an annual general meeting (AGM). All welcome.
We provide regular newsletters to share information about what we are doing and how you can help.
